STANDARD END-OF-LEASE CLEAN

Preparing for handover? Here's our detailed standard clean checklist. We understand the importance of meeting the high cleaning standards expected at the end of a tenancy in Queensland. Our comprehensive service is specifically designed to address the detailed requirements property managers look for during the final inspection.
Kitchen
We give the kitchen comprehensive attention, ensuring appliances and surfaces are cleaned to a high standard.
- Oven: Deep cleaned inside and out, including racks and trays.
- Cooktop: Degreased and thoroughly cleaned.
- Rangehood & Filter: Degreased and wiped down, including filter surface.
- Cupboards & Drawers: Cleaned inside and out (assuming property is empty).
- Benchtop & Splashback: Wiped down and cleaned.
- Sink & Taps: Cleaned and polished.
- Dishwasher: Cleaned inside (including filter area) and outside.
Bathrooms
Bathrooms are meticulously cleaned to ensure hygiene and remove soap scum, leaving fixtures sparkling.
- Shower: Shower screen, tiles, grout, and floor scrubbed clean.
- Bath: Cleaned thoroughly inside and out.
- Toilet: Thoroughly cleaned and sanitised.
- Basin & Vanity: Cleaned, with taps polished.
- Mirrors: Polished until streak-free.
- Exhaust Fans: Dusted and wiped clean.
- Fixtures & Fittings: Dusted and polished (e.g., towel rails, toilet roll holders).
Bedrooms
Bedrooms are prepared ready for the next occupants, including attention to storage and general surfaces.
- Bedroom Surfaces: General dusting of accessible surfaces within bedrooms.
- Bedroom Fixtures: Light fittings and switches within bedrooms wiped clean.
- Bedroom Skirting: Skirting boards within bedrooms wiped down.
- Wardrobes: Built-in wardrobes cleaned inside (shelves/drawers) and outside/mirrors (assuming empty).
Living Areas & Throughout
We address the general fixtures and fittings found in common living spaces and hallways.
- Common Area Skirting: Skirting boards wiped down in hallways, living, and dining areas.
- Common Area Light Fittings: Dusted and wiped clean in hallways and living areas.
- Common Area Switches/Points: Power points and light switches wiped clean in hallways and living areas.
- Doors & Door Frames: Wiped down throughout the property, including spot cleaning for marks.
Walls, Ceilings & Windows
We tackle common areas prone to dust and marks, including reachable window surfaces.
- Cobwebs: Removed from ceilings and corners throughout the property.
- Walls: Spot cleaned for minor marks as needed.
- Internal Windows: All internal glass surfaces cleaned until clear.
- Window Sills & Tracks: Wiped clean to remove dust and grime.
Floors & Laundry
Floors throughout the property are thoroughly cleaned, along with specific attention to the laundry area.
- Vacuuming: All floors vacuumed thoroughly, paying attention to edges and corners.
- Mopping: All hard floor surfaces mopped clean after vacuuming.
- Laundry Sink & Taps: Sink basin and taps cleaned thoroughly.
- Laundry Cupboards: Any built-in laundry cupboards wiped inside and out (if applicable and empty).
Just so we are clear: Our standard end-of-lease clean focuses on the comprehensive checklist detailed above. Please note that certain specific tasks, like cleaning ceilings or washing external windows beyond easy reach, aren't typically included in the standard service.

Carpet Steam Cleaning
Highly recommended if you have carpets, and often a lease requirement. Deep cleans to remove embedded dirt and common stains.
Pest Control
Addresses common household pests. Frequently required by lease agreements, especially if you had pets living at the property.
Lawn Mowing & Basic Garden Tidy
Ensures the outside looks presentable for the final inspection, covering mowing accessible lawn areas and a general tidy-up.
